About the Company
AskUI is an AI-first startup from Karlsruhe developing a novel platform for user interface automation – far beyond traditional UI testing. The technology allows companies and developers to automate applications across systems and platforms, regardless of operating system or tech stack. At the heart of the solution are so-called Vision Agents – intelligent agents that recognize, understand, and interact with visual elements on the screen just like a human user. Using modern AI models, they interpret the user interface visually and respond to natural language commands and contextual information. This makes automation intuitive, flexible, and scalable.
AskUI was founded in 2021 by Dominik Klotz and Jonas Menesklou as part of the EXIST founder scholarship. Since then, the company has grown dynamically and established itself as an innovator in the “prompt-to-automation” space, supported by a successful €4.3 million seed funding round led by Eurazeo.

The Challenge
With rapid growth came AskUI’s next major milestone: the ISO 27001 certification. Existing, partially manual compliance processes were neither efficient nor scalable – and therefore insufficient to meet high security requirements. AskUI needed a solution that would not only lead to certification quickly but also grow with the company in the long term. The challenge was clear: a user-friendly, time-saving system that ensures efficient and sustainable compliance.
